"Life shrinks or expands in proportion to one's courage"

--anais Nin

Making changes in one's life can be very challenging, but can be, ultimately, rewarding. Therapy is a process in which I help support you in defining goals and improving skills to ultimately:

  • strengthen  your sense of self
  • manage your moods and worries
  • improve your connection with others
  • allow you to recognize and appreciate what aspects of your life that add value and meaning to your life

Therapy helps to improve lives in a meaningful way
(have better relationships with friends, family members and partners, improve our self-esteem), it's not just about managing your symptoms.

I offer a warm, compassionate, and collaborative environment, and I will work with you to tailor clinical interventions to fit your needs and goals.  My approach integrates different evidence-based therapeutic approaches, such as Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Mindfulness, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy. These are active, practical, skills-based and engaged forms of therapy--which focus on making positive changes in one's current life.
